Abstract

This research is a type of correlational quantitative research which aims to determine whether or not there is a significant relationship between mathematical logical intelligence and the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Inpres 5/81 Lemoape, Palakka District, Bone Regency. The population in the study were all class IV students using a sampling technique, namely a saturated sample of 35 students. Data collection techniques are carried out using tests. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, it shows that mathematical logical intelligence obtained an average of 10.66 in the medium category and mathematics learning outcomes obtained an average of 66.09 in the medium category. Based on the results of infreential statistical analysis, it shows rcount > rtable (0.619 > 0.3338) at a significance level of 5%. Thus H1 accepted and H0 rejected. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between mathematical logical intelligence and the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Inpres 5/81 Lemoape, Palakka District, Bone Regency, which is in the strong category in the interval 0.60 0.799.
