Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to increase interest in learning social studies in grade V of SD Inpres 12/79 Toro, East Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency through the Hypnoteaching learning method. Data collection techniques use observation and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques for this research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the Hypnoteaching learning method can increase students' interest in learning social studies in Class V of SD Inpres 12/79 Toro, East Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. This can be proven by the acquisition of students' interest in learning in cycle I, there were 17 out of 30 students who achieved the success indicator with a percentage of 56.66% (Enough), while in cycle II there were 27 out of 30 students who achieved the success indicator with a percentage of 90.47 % (Good). The percentage of teacher activity in cycle I reached 76.19% (Fair), while the percentage in cycle II reached 90.47% (Good). The percentage of student activity in cycle I reached 76.19% (Fair), while the percentage in cycle II reached 95.23% (Good).
