PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN VAK (VISUAL AUDITORY KINESTHETIC) TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS SDN 001 MAMASA

Abstract

This study is an experimental research aimed at determining the influence of implementing the VAK (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) learning model on the activities and learning outcomes of Indonesian language for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 001 Mamasa. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 001 Mamasa, totaling 630 students, with a sample size of 53 students. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis, including normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. Student learning activity data were obtained from observation sheets, while student learning outcome data were obtained from the posttest results of the Indonesian language. Analysis of the data on student learning activities revealed a mean difference of 87.10 for the experimental group and 83.77 for the control group. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, a significance value of 0.12 was obtained, which is smaller than < 0.05. Furthermore, the data from the Indonesian language learning outcomes test showed a mean difference of 82.11 for the experimental group and 76.73 for the control group, with a significance value of 0.024, which is smaller than < 0.05. It can be concluded that the implementation of the VAK learning model (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) has a significant effect on the activities and learning outcomes of Indonesian language for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 001 Mamasa.
