HUBUNGAN PENGUASAAN KOSAKATA BAHASA INDONESIA DENGAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS CERPEN KELAS V SD GUGUS I KECAMATAN TELLU SIATTINGE KABUPATEN BONE

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with a correlational type of research. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of Indonesian vocabulary mastery and the ability to write short stories and to find out whether or not there was a significant relationship between Indonesian vocabulary mastery and the ability to write short stories for fifth grade students. The research design was correlational. In this research design, variable X is mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and variable Y is the ability to write short stories. The population in this study were all Grade V students at SD Cluster I, Tellu Siattinge District, Bone Regency, totaling 38 students. The data collection technique used was a test to find out the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary with the ability to write short stories for fifth grade students. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and the ability to write short stories for Class V SD Clusters I, Tellu Siattinge District, Bone Regency. From this study it can be concluded that mastery of Indonesian vocabulary is related to the ability to write short stories for Class V SD Clusters I, Tellu Siattinge District, Bone Regency.
