MODEL STRUKTURAL HUBUNGAN BODY IMAGE, PARTISIPASI DALAM OLAHRAGA REKREASI, DAN SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING PADA MAHASISWA DI PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstract

Body image, partisipasi dalam olahraga rekreasi, dan subjective well-being merupakan aspek penting kesehatan psikososial mahasiswa yang saling berinteraksi membentuk kualitas hidup mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji model struktural hubungan antara body image, partisipasi dalam olahraga rekreasi, dan subjective well-being pada mahasiswa perguruan tinggi. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan structural equation modeling melibatkan 420 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui proportional stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari Body Image Scale untuk mengukur persepsi citra tubuh, kuesioner partisipasi olahraga rekreasi tervalidasi, dan Satisfaction with Life Scale untuk mengukur subjective well-being. Data dianalisis menggunakan covariance-based structural equation modeling dengan AMOS untuk menguji model hipotesis dan goodness of fit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model struktural memiliki fit yang baik dengan CFI 0,96, TLI 0,95, dan RMSEA 0,052. Body image berpengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap subjective well-being dengan koefisien jalur 0,42, partisipasi olahraga rekreasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap body image dengan koefisien 0,54 dan terhadap subjective well-being dengan koefisien 0,31. Body image berperan sebagai mediator parsial dalam hubungan partisipasi olahraga rekreasi dengan subjective well-being. Model dapat menjelaskan 62 persen varians subjective well-being. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi pentingnya mengintegrasikan promosi olahraga rekreasi dan pengembangan body image positif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan mahasiswa.
