Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum inSDN6Watampone,identifytheproblemsfacedbyteachersinimplementingthecurriculum, and find out the efforts made by teachers to overcome these problems. Theresearch method used was qualitative descriptive. The subjects of the study were theprincipalandteachers.Datawerecollectedthroughobservation,interviews,anddocumentation. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation,and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested using triangulation of techniques. Theresults of the study showed that SDN 6Watampone has implementedthe MerdekaBelajar Curriculum with various learning strategies, such as project-based learning,diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, subject-based learning, IPAS, anddevelopment of teaching modules. Teachers face several problems in implementing theMerdeka Belajar Curriculum, such as difficulties in analyzing the Curriculum Package(CP), formulating Learning Objectives (TP), and compiling Annual Teaching Plans(ATP) and Teaching Modules, determining teaching methods and strategies, lack oftechnological skills, limited student textbooks, lack of teacher skills and readiness to useteaching methods and media, determining project themes for grades I and IV, lack oftime allocation for project-based learning, and determining assessment forms. Teachershave implemented various efforts to overcome these problems, such as attending regularmeetings with the Subject Teacher Working Group (KKG), continuing projects at home,making notes, and attending training on the implementation of the Merdeka BelajarCurriculum.
