Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of flexibility, explosive power of the legs and the concurrent contribution of flexibility and explosive power of the legs to the sickle kick of the UNM totaling 30 athletes. The analysis in this study using parametric statistical analysis is intended to get an overview of the data. And inferential analysis is used to test the research hypotheses using data analysis. Analysis of the statistical results of the sickle kick ability obtained, there is a significant contribution of Pencak Silat BKMF athlete. The population in this study were all members of the BKMF Pencak silat UNM. The sample in this study was BKMF Pencak Silat FIK UNM athletes, flexibility to the sickle kick in BKMF Pencaksilat FIK UNM athletes by 50.1%, there is a significant contribution of leg explosive power to sickle kick in BKMF Pencaksilat FIK UNM athletes by 24.6% , there is a contribution between flexibility and explosive power of the legs on the sickle kick in BKMF Pencaksilat FIK UNM athletes by 52.8%
