HUBUNGAN PHYSICAL LITERACY, MOTIVASI INTRINSIK, DAN KEBIASAAN AKTIVITAS FISIK PADA MAHASISWA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara physical literacy, motivasi intrinsik, dan kebiasaan aktivitas fisik mahasiswa serta mendeskripsikan kontribusi masing-masing dimensi physical literacy terhadap motivasi intrinsik dan kebiasaan aktivitas fisik secara parsial dan simultan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan dan Rekreasi angkatan 2022 dan 2023, dengan sampel yang dipilih melalui teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Physical literacy diukur menggunakan Perceived Physical Literacy Instrument yang mencakup empat dimensi utama kepercayaan diri, motivasi, kompetensi fisik, serta pengetahuan dan pemahaman motivasi intrinsik diukur menggunakan Intrinsic Motivation Inventory, dan kebiasaan aktivitas fisik diukur menggunakan International Physical Activity Questionnaire versi panjang. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson, analisis regresi berganda, dan Structural Equation Modeling pada taraf signifikansi yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara physical literacy dan motivasi intrinsik, antara motivasi intrinsik dan kebiasaan aktivitas fisik, serta antara physical literacy dan kebiasaan aktivitas fisik, dengan motivasi intrinsik terbukti berperan sebagai mediator parsial yang signifikan dalam hubungan antara physical literacy dan kebiasaan aktivitas fisik, sehingga upaya peningkatan kebiasaan aktivitas fisik mahasiswa PJKR perlu diarahkan pada penguatan keempat dimensi physical literacy secara terintegrasi dengan memberikan perhatian khusus pada internalisasi motivasi intrinsik sebagai jembatan antara kapasitas literasi fisik dan perilaku aktif yang berkelanjutan.
