Hubungan Daya Ledak Otot Tungkai dengan Prestasi Lari Sprint 100 Meter pada Atlet Remaja

Abstract

Daya ledak otot tungkai merupakan salah satu komponen biomotorik yang memiliki peran determinan dalam cabang olahraga atletik, khususnya nomor lari sprint 100 meter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara daya ledak otot tungkai dengan prestasi lari sprint 100 meter pada atlet remaja di Kota Parepare, Sulawesi Selatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 atlet remaja putra usia 14–18 tahun yang terdaftar di klub atletik Kota Parepare. Pengukuran daya ledak otot tungkai menggunakan tes vertical jump (Sargent Jump Test), sedangkan prestasi lari sprint 100 meter diukur menggunakan stopwatch digital. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara daya ledak otot tungkai dengan prestasi lari sprint 100 meter (r = -0,782; p < 0,05), artinya semakin tinggi nilai daya ledak otot tungkai maka semakin baik (rendah) catatan waktu lari sprint 100 meter. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa program latihan yang berfokus pada peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai perlu menjadi prioritas dalam pembinaan atlet remaja sprint.
