Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. PDF files are acceptable for initial submission but authors will be required to provide a Word file if the manuscript is accepted.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The manuscript is double-spaced, uses a 12-point Times New Roman font, and is between 4,000 and 7,000 words (excluding references). All figures, tables, and illustrations are placed within the text at appropriate points with captions provided.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- The manuscript has been written in English. The abstract is between 150 and 250 words and includes background, purpose, method, findings, and conclusion.
- The manuscript includes 4–6 keywords that accurately reflect the content of the article and are not already included in the title.
- References follow APA 7th edition format. All references cited in the text appear in the reference list, and all entries in the reference list are cited in the text.
- The author(s) confirm that this manuscript represents original work, has not been plagiarised, and that all co-authors have approved the submission. The similarity index does not exceed 20%.
Research Article
This section publishes original empirical research on science teaching and learning at the primary school level (ages 6–12). Manuscripts should present clear research questions, methodology, findings, and implications for practice or policy. All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.
Review Article
Systematic reviews, literature reviews, or meta-analyses.
