Abstract

Education has the responsibility of preparing human resources to support national development. The progress of development is continuously aligned with the demands of the times. Rapid social and technological changes consistently give rise to new educational challenges that were previously unforeseen. This article discusses the major problems in education, the interrelationships among these issues, the factors influencing their development, and current educational challenges along with possible solutions. Educational problems refer to the various issues encountered within the education system, particularly in Indonesia. The Indonesian education system continues to face numerous internal and complex challenges that extend from elementary education to higher education. The low quality of education at the elementary school level requires immediate attention because it significantly influences students' future educational success.
